Course Description
Short Course | 6 hours | 0.6 CEUs |
Organizations, like individuals, have their own personalities; this is typically referred to as organizational culture. Organizational culture refers to a system of shared assumptions, values, and beliefs that show people what is appropriate and inappropriate behavior. These values have a strong influence on employee behavior as well as organizational performance. Understanding how culture is created, communicated, and changed will help you to be a more effective manager. This one-day workshop shows how to diagnose culture, and then looks at the skills and tools needed to develop a more effective organizational culture that will help achieve the desired goals.
Think strategically before you develop your strategic plan to pinpoint organizational challenges and opportunities. Acquire a strategic-thinking framework that informs your agency’s investments in people and processes as well as the trade-offs you make because of limited resources. And determine the steps involved in strategy implementation.
