Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) Bootcamp
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0, managed by the Cyber AB, is a program that measures an organization's cybersecurity program’s compliance with applicable cybersecurity practices. After full rollout, all contracts providing products or services to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) must obtain the required level of certification under this program in accordance with the DFARS 252.204-7021 clause once rule-making completes in 2023.
This course prepares you for the Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) certification exam, which is the first step in becoming a Certified Assessor. It also certifies you as a valuable resource for any organization needing CMMC support and guidance. In this course, you will learn about the CMMC Model, framework, context, and application within the DoD as well as the expectations and requirements imposed upon organizations that do business with the DoD. It will also help you identify threats to cybersecurity and privacy and implement appropriate countermeasures. Topics include understanding the CMMC Model, domains, and practices along with understanding roles, responsibilities, rights, limitations, and inter-relationships between all entities across the Cyber AB ecosystem.
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program provides a standard model and process for conducting a conformity assessment of Department of Defense (DoD) suppliers and service providers. Organizations wanting to provide products and services to the DoD will be required to demonstrate their cybersecurity competency and compliance under the CMMC program.
A Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) applies a rigorous assessment process to ensure the relevant security controls have been effectively implemented and that there is evidence that those controls can be sustained.
This course covers identifying the scope of an Assessment, assessing the CMMC Level 2 practices, and using an established process and workflow to enable efficiencies during an Assessment.
