This course will prepare students to become a certified PgMP professional by covering the exam and teaching key skills through hands-on practice. It provides a comprehensive review of The Standard for Program Management, the current exam content outline, and the certification process. Students will find this helpful in preparing for the Program Management Professional (PgMP)® certification exam or in the solidification of their knowledge and understanding of the standards of program management. This course is also good for the PMP Professional that wants to learn program management and earn PDUs as well as current PgMP Professionals that needs PDUs and wants to polish their program management skills.

The Center's project management classes offer professional development units (PDUs). As a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), Saint Louis University Workforce Center has been approved by PMI to issue PDUs for our courses.

Students attending this course will receive the book: The Standard for Program Management and a leading PgMP Study Guide.

PgMP ® Testing Requirements:

  • Four-year College/University Degree
  • 48 months of project management experience or PMP
  • 48 months of program management experience within the last 15 years

OR

  • High school diploma or Associate’s Degree
  • 48 months of project management experience or PMP
  • 84 months of program management experience within the last 15 years
