Course Description
Visual presentation of data in ways that emphasize the structure and significance in data. Guidelines for preparing static graphs, dynamic graphs, interactive graphs, and dashboards. Applies R, including packages ggplot2, plotly, and shiny, and the D3 package in JavaScript.
Learner Outcomes
- Determine appropriate visual display to present data regarding public health
- Develop a written report that incorporates data analysis, including visualization
- Use the appropriate software to create dynamic visualizations for public health data
