- Common failures of software and how to identify them
- How to integrate software assurance from procurement onwards
- Static and dynamic software analysis techniques
- Judge the applicability of various tools and methods for determining software trust and resilience.
Learner Outcomes
In this course students gain an understanding of software assurance practices, the properties of secure software, and techniques and strategies for the static and dynamic evaluation of software security. Through hands-on labs, students examine how to leverage software analysis toolkits while also learning the best practices to integrate security into a development pipeline.
Prerequisites
Product Cybersecurity Design (PSE700) or equivalent experience.
