Overview

Project Management is the use of principles, techniques and tools to execute projects effectively and efficiently. For most organizations it is a necessary competency, which allows them to reach business goals via project deliverables. In this certificate, students learn the theory and application of the Process Groups and core Project Management Knowledge areas. The certificate courses use the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) as a framework for each of the classes, although theory and application are studied.

PMM100 - Project Management Essentials

  • This course uses lecture, discussion and case studies to provide an overview of project management concepts and principles. Topics include the Project Management Framework, Process Groups, and Knowledge Areas.

PMM250 - Leading Project Teams

  • In this course, students learn to lead teams to successfully complete projects, inspiring and motivating individuals to stay the course.

PMM350 - Managing Scope, Schedule and Cost

  • In this course, students go beyond project management fundamentals and learn how to establish and balance the competing demands of scope, schedule, and cost.

PMM800 - Project Management Professional (PMP)® Bootcamp

  • This course provides a comprehensive review of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), and the certification process. Students will find this helpful in preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® or Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM)® certification examinations or in the solidification of their knowledge and understanding of the Project Management processes and content.
